Present Policy-makers, scientists, and water managers in Arizona work in the context of public perceptions and values. Understanding public values toward drought and water management is as important to developing feasible and acceptable solutions as scientific and technical information. This panel will discuss public perceptions of the drought in Arizona and how public attitudes affect current and future science, management, and policy.
