Thanks to the assistance of Salt River Project, Central Arizona Project, and the National Science Foundation for sponsoring this workshop.
Goals of the workshop
Participants will be able to enhance their knowledge of water in Arizona and more specifically in the Phoenix area.
Participants will be able to describe the complexity of the impact population growth has on water demand and what that means for water users in the Valley.
Participants will have a baseline knowledge of the following issues:
Participants will be able to design opportunities to educate the public about current water issues.
The workshop was packed with lots of information and a wide variety of guest speakers. To assist educators in bringing their experience to their audiences, many of the presentations from the workshop are below so that they can be used to enhance water education programs.
